Australian athleisure brand Crop Shop Boutique, known by fans as CSB, launched its first pop-up shop in the United States on Melrose in Los Angeles. After successful pop-up experiences in Melbourne and Sydney, this was a test for the brand to test demand for their product in the US. The results surpassed expectations.
To kick off the celebration, CSB founder Rachel Dyllon invited friends of the brand, including press, influencers, and trendsetters, to a private party the night before opening doors to the public. The experience was filled with high-energy music thanks to DJ Lindsay Luv, who kept the vibe high. Partnering with Bloom, guests enjoyed handcrafted branded cocktails and mocktails that were inspired by the collection and complemented by beautifully arranged healthy bites. The experience was filled with giveaways, including apparel and permanent bracelets from Stack LA. A film-inspired photo booth was also onsite so guests could capture the fun and share on social. In an effort to generate more engagement and reach, we partnered with a social sharing photo service to capture and amplify the event as well.
Following the invite-only press kick-off event, the space opened its doors to the public for two days, which was met with high demand. Consumers arrived as early as 530 am to get in line for the day, and there was a consistent line around the block of passionate fans of the brand waiting to enter. Once opened, guests were able to try on the collection, shop firsthand, talk to staff, and learn more about the brand, and had a chance to win high-value prizes from the claw machine. The shopping experience was leveled up by custom shopping baskets, branded tags, and staff at each station talking about the uniqueness and fit of each piece.
The event not only surpassed the brand’s expectations but it also acted as a platform for content creation and social sharing from influencers and consumers to drive brand awareness.
